Laura
Lead Nurse
Laura has been nursing since 2014 and has enjoyed a range of roles from hospital to general practice, and is now our Lead Nurse. She has specialised training in allergy nursing and is passionate about working in partnership with you and your whãnau to optimise your allergy care. When not nursing, she is running around her farm with her family (avoiding the pollen).

Registered Nurse, Professional Certificate in Allergy Nursing, Associate Member of ASCIA (Australasian Society of Clinical Immunology and Allergy)
Ellen
Allergy Nurse
Ellen has been working in urgent care for 9 years and transitioned into allergy nursing in 2020. Ellen enjoys getting to know the clients and working within the team to provide life changing outcomes for our clients. Outside of work Ellen enjoys taking her kids up skiing, riding horses and getting involved in her community.

Michelle
Allergy Nurse
With 30 years of nursing experience, including the past 10 years specialising as an allergy nurse, Michelle brings a wealth of knowledge and care to support patients with their allergic conditions. She enjoys helping people better understand and manage their allergies, improving both their health and quality of life.
Outside of Michelle's professional role, she is a busy parent to three teenagers who keep life energetic. To recharge, she enjoys biking and practicing yoga.

Kim
Allergy Nurse
Kim has worked in the urgent care department at Riccarton Clinic for 4 years. She has recently joined the allergy team and is thriving, bringing with her a strong clinical background and a calm, confident approach.
In here spare time Kim enjoys cooking, reading, skiing and dinners with friends. She has 3 busy, sporty boys who she loves spending time with.

Andrea Goebel
Doctor
Andrea has worked at the South Island Allergy Service for 10 years and has a special interest in allergy medicine. With her post graduate diploma in dermatology and over 20 years of general practice experience, Andrea is a valuable member of our allergy team. In her spare time, Andrea has a passion for following football, after retiring from playing hersrelf. She also loves staying active with cycling, running and hiking.

James Broadbent
Doctor
James brings a wealth of experience to the allergy team with a special interest in allergy medicine and a post graduate qualification in travel medicine. James has worked for the allergy service since it began. When not at work you can find James exploring the mountains and the ski fields.

Emma
Clinic Administrator
Emma is the organisational wizard who takes care of the day to day administration needs of the clinic. You are likely to hear from her as she books you in for your first appointment. In Emma's spare time she enjoys yoga, snowboarding, music and spending time with friends and family.
